Icon for chess software users

I suggest :

I need to know (before to start a game) if my opponent iw using chess software. I don't like visit his profile meanwhile I need to play the game.

not a bad idea, icon could be red instead of green.

Edit: no, that would be misleading, users could interpret it as 'has lost connection'

Maybe... an 'alert' symbol (a yellow triangle with a ! signal)

If you play only rated you aren't risking playing cheats. They are rate-banned.

Of course. But isn't likely to lose with them (specially when we did it all to win that game). It feels to me an stupid :-(

NOTE about my prevoius post: i said it because I plays whenever unrated

@pesetero #2 i like the idea. in my opinion, it should be a second icon, beside the first.

while at it, when hovering the circle icon, a tool tip 'user is logged in'/'user is logged off' should be shown, not the user info pop up.
