bug? blocked player but still see his chat messages

so there is a person i have blocked a while back and just now i saw his chat messages while i was spectating a game

is block not supposed to hide these messages?

I think blocking a player just stops them from following/challenging/playing/messaging you. You can still see the chat messages in game and in the tourney lobby
