Will Lichess be still online in 100 years?

We tremble on the brink of routinely living to 120 or more. My generation is the last to die young.

Only one thing can make somebody be remembered forever: keep a journal in electronic form and pass it along to your descendants.

Of course, too many young people don't value having descendants now. Birthing is just too much bother. Career is everything. That, and selfies.

But who will see your selfies 100 years later? Who will read your perfect memo, email or text 100 years later?

Weep for our world.
It could be. I mean pages can say up forever of the topic they cover stays relevant, and I guess chess will still be around in 100 years.

But I doubt this thread will be around, proably is not worth it to pay to keep 100 year old forum threads up lol
It has a chance but there could be external difficulty, say wars; there could also be a total drop in popularity of chess with other generations. Any acceleration in advanced technology could also leave it behind. Chess actually is very old so it could close due to no support internally. I mean will FIDE be here in 100 years?
