US socialism

@Doodbro How would sci-tech have progressed if not for letting individuals create and better their own products and wealth over hundreds of years of industrialization without massive annoying intervention
The US should implement severe austerity measures, balance the budget (deficit), and get out of debt, while substantially increasing the military budget and building the wall (that Mexico will pay for). We need to eliminate the administrative state.

(Says Trump, Bannon, most Republicans)

Science and technology existed before capitalism. Science and technology (machines, man, machines) allowed capitalism to exist.

Why are you continuing to bring up individual rights?

#26 Can you re-post it here or at least put a post # containing it? I must have missed it amidst your ramblings. Do yourself a favor and compose a coherent post not filled with slogans.
@Doodbro I see a mixed economic system definition there. Whatever it is, by no means it is a socialism. Any system is mixed, as you can hardly find any pure form anyway. It goes for economic systems just like for everything else.

So, what is socialism and what exactly makes you think that US economy is socialist? Please provide examples with elaboration.
Political elo ratigs should be very low here ;) (I'm joking)

US economy is of course not socialist. It's not because state intervenes in economy that it's socialist. It's just a bit Keynesian, and Keynes was for liberalism not socialism.

Of course everything is about what each one call socialism. This concept has taken too many senses that it has loose itself.
The poorest version of socialim is to take a part of profits and high wages to fianance social work and social aids.
The most advance is to instore social property... With an anti-autoritarian democratic version that has been repressed by Franco in 1936 but was working not so bad ; and a totalitarian-bureacratic stalinist version that has historically failed.
