My first OTB tournament - any last minute advice? :)

Hey guys,
I will be playing my first OTB tournament and I am very excited about it. I was wondering if anyone has some last minute advice for me? Also maybe some etiquette advise too or just in general. I would appreciate any advise! :)

It´´ is a big tournament, in my section there are 100+ players and there will be some 450+ players overall - already registered for all the 3 sections. CH-System. Time controls are 90 min (40 moves) plus 30 min afterwards. Additionally you gain 30 sec for every move from the start.

I really just want to have fun and enjoy the experience, so I am not worried too much. But maybe there are some useful things to know/remember - also during the games. I am more of a positional player rather than tactical. How to manage the time properly for instance?

Thank you for any comments and advice guys! :)
Brush up your repertoire, and practice solving tons of tactics before the tournament. Eat healthy and sleep well. Try not to expend a lot of energy on a single game, because it's most likely gonna be back-to-back rounds and you will have to concentrate on your later games too.

Familiarize yourself with the rules of tournament play, too. Yes, it seems obvious to do so, but you may have missed some crucial rule which may lead you to forfeiting a game or possibly getting kicked out of the tournament.

And most of all, have fun! It's your first tournament, try not to take it too seriously!
Also, if you know your pairings already, you might consider looking your opponent up and preparing some sort of line against his opening, checking out his play style etc etc.
I disagree with that. You shouldn't do tactics directly before the tournament. You can do that some days ago, but the last 1-2 games you should do nothing related to chess so that your brain is well rested.
There's not much to say, don't take it too seriously, try to have fun, that way you will also play better.
As for the time management, I usually don't get into time trouble but if you do you should probably look to have at least 20-30 minutes left after 20 moves. If you don't you should start playing quicker.
What's always a good idea is to do sport between the rounds, go jogging or play soccer or whatever, just anything to free your mind.
Oops, EDIT:
You can do tactics a few days before the tournament starts, but the last 1-2 days before it you shouldn't do chess stuff.
Thanks a lot for the quick advice! :)

#2 + #4
I will be playing only one game per day, so i can focus only on that :)

#3 Im my section most players are unratet ergo their first OTB tourney as well. For the others there is not too much info online.
The following advice is taken from a 3500 rated GM.

Best advice is to take some extra pieces with you.

1) Cough or create some other diversion and add them to your board.

2) If the opponent complains that the piece design is different claim a factory quality defect.

3) If that doesn't work, do the reverse, take pieces away from him when he's not looking.

4) As a last resort when losing, flip the board. Be careful not to drop the pieces though.

5) If all of this fails, changing your name to that of your opponent will create havoc.

Hope that helps.
