Back to V1

"Can I switch back to v1?
Sorry, it's not possible to switch back to Lichess v1. It is gone. Forever. Never to be seen again. Please try to take a few days to get used to Lichess v2, which we believe is superior in every regard. Also let us know what you miss about v1, and we'll see what can be done to address your concerns."

Hi Everyone!

I really appreciate all the work you have done on a new site but unfortunately, It's a failure.

As lichess.org is open source I'm going to fork lichess and spin up a new server with V1 installed if lichess is unwilling to do so. I'm also willing to pay for it for a while.

Let me know if there is any interest in V1.

Thanks.
What is the point if you are only paying for it "For a while"?

I don't see any issues with v2 yet. What is your issue?
My main issue is the design.

For people with eyes disabilities, it's uncomfortable to use the new site. Font weights are too small, It's hard to read, and causes head pain after using it in a short period.

I understand you may not have such issue. But for me, it's a major problem, and I believe it's not something lichess.org team will change, as this is an arbitrary choice of them. So probably not a bug from their perspective.

"What is the point if you are only paying for it "For a while"?"

The point is simple, if people will want it, they will help, if not it will die. And that's the end of the story.
Chessboard dosent appear on my computer screen. My issue.
Font weights? I am a nurse, and I am pretty decent with computers. Both of these could make sense with examples. Got any?
@urbanski Please advice if you are serious. I'm a developer since 20+ and webdeveloper since 15+ years. I can advice finding good servers and in my free time i can help you to develop the site.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." V2 is just awful. Everything is too big for no reason and I have to scroll down on the home screen for a while to see everything. It's a giant pain. The huge font is distracting while I'm trying to play games. I'm guess I'll be going back to chess.com. Why did lichess have to ruin a good thing? So disappointed.
Seriously, was V2 made for people who are visually impaired? Why is everything so large?
