Very interesting read and an inside view: IM Daniel Pruess left chess.com

#9 #11 I suppose neither of you are opposed to the imminent Kraft-Heinz merger causing thousands of people to lose their jobs. The American Way (TM) isn't always right.
Sorry, I may have oversimplified and stepped out of line there.

What I meant to say is just because current laws and business models support "capitalism" doesn't make the status quo just or fair. Yes, the CEO endured risk, but employees put their jobs and livelihoods at risk every day.
debate about whats "just" or "fair" can not be resolved through experimentation, not even in theory. So it doesn't survive Alder's razor.

what one can discuss is which economic models lead to the greatest rate of growth or the best standards of living
But Alder's razor allows for externalization of issues otherwise meritorious of public discussion (on account of their importance). Just because a logical argument cannot be had doesn't mean discussion is a bad thing.
It just jumped from 1100 to 865 so Facebook is banning a few cases of registration abuse.
Now 500 users.

What a sad waste of time for the people who bothered to use up hours of their day doing that.
