Only titled players can play in Titled Arena.
So does it mean that they are titled, lichess verified them, but they don’t want to display their title on their profile?

That explains it - the ability to remove titles from accounts also afffects the tournament standings.
Yes, they are verified. You cannot join without the title and you won't get one unless you verify your account.
If you don't see it, this means we removed it for some reason, for example, transferred the title to another authorized by us account.
There should be no arena called titled player arena. The title actually to make sure strong online players not playing with chess engine assistance. Let everyone play chess and enjoy the tournament.
