I was trying to play maia1 bot on the Lichess app, but when I click challenge to a game, put in the settings and then confirm challenge to a game, nothing happens. There's like an invisible screen that appears, but when I touch the screen, it goes back to the maia1 bot page.
Is it like the bot can only play one player at a time or something, or can we only challenge it on the desktop?
@SomeguySomewhere48 you can challenge bot in desktop and go to lichess app and can continue it..

The only thing is, I might not have the desktop around all the time, especially when traveling. So then it might become an issue.
Not really sure why I can't challenge from the app itself, when the option is present.
@SomeguySomewhere48 Actually there is option online bots in the desktop but there is no option of online bots in app. And you can't challenge bots. You can selwct the bot from the bots ootion and can play it.
Just wanted to say that I was able to play against Maia on the mobile app. Realised that I have to challenge with time. I was challenging unlimited time and unrated, and Maia wasn't accepting that.
So this issue has been rectified.
Just wanted to mention it, for anyone else coming across this question.
