I try to challenge someone and it says " This person's rating is too far from you." Who cares? It's the fun of the game not how good you are!!!!! Please remove this feature so i can play with friends again!!

I did it casual. And thibault how do you know? Are you spying on me just cause i friended you and sent a challenge? I thought it was cool you created all this thats all

I know because I implemented the 1000 points limitation you have been hitting.
Maybe that's not such a great change. Limiting who can play who based on ratings. First off there's an abort game feature, so if they get paired against someone 1000+ lower rated mistakenly, they can just abort. Also there are seek limits for the purpose of limiting who we're playing against. It just sorta stops the lower rated players from getting games against the top guys.
It only affects challenges. Not lobby games.
A little feature request to complement this (which I think is OK since you can still challenge them if they're friends):
When someone challenges you, it would be nice to see their rating next to their name. For instance, "aybabtu (9001) has challenged you to a game" as opposed to "aybabtu has challenged you to a game" or whatever the precise string is.
You can still see a player's rating by hovering the mouse over his or her name, but I think it's a crucial detail (if you're a sucker for good ratings, at least) in this context that should be included in the string.
