lichess mobile 2.6.0 for android has input problems

After I updated the lichess mobile on my Android to the latest version (2.6.0), playing bullet has been impossible due to too many misclicks.

I'm not sure exactly why that is happening... it looks like the input is too sensitive and thus when I click fast, it thinks I dragged the piece shortly and then left it on the same square it originally was. As a result, the piece I just tried to click is not highlighted. Then when I click again on the destination square, nothing happens because the piece I was trying to move is not highlighted.

Someone else also reported it on the Play Store comments, so I'm not the only one seeing this problem.

I hope it gets fixed soon so I can get back to playing bullet on my Android :)
Why is it that I have it set to allow notifications but when someone moves it NEVER NOTIFIES ME AT ALL WHYYYY THATS SOOOOO ANOYYING PLEASE PLEASE FIX THAT
Version 2.6.2 is out and it is fixed!!!! \o/

Thank you so much for the quick fix, Vincent!!!
Actually, 2.6.2 is better but still not perfect... looks like there was a behavior change... when I click on a piece, it gets highlighted... then if I change my mind and click on a different piece, the old behavior (prior to 2.6.0) was to get the second piece highlighted... the new behavior is, when I click on the second piece, it only dehighlights the previous piece, ending with no piece highlighted.

That is annoying when playing bullet because, before your opponent moves, you usually clicks on the piece that you most likely will move next. But if your opponent does something you were not expecting and you have to move a different piece, now you have to click twice... once to deselect the piece you clicked first, and then again to actually select that piece.

Maybe I should just go to github and file bugs instead of posting forum messages?
