Can we please start temp banning people that let the game time out instead of resigning ?

have fun getting extra penalized beyond losing the game and getting a warning

the warnings are supposed to distinguish accidental disconnects from a true pattern of ditching games

@Cedur216 If warnings aren't effective then more drastic measures are necessary.

@groovynwhippy you know, the dilemma is that you also effect innocent people who just disconnect, that's a problem Lichess can't resolve.

If you're really annoyed of being boldly stalled, shoot an extra report and hope it effects something. And block the person too.

@Cedur216 Ok I will keep that in mind. The timing made me question their decision to disconnect. However, I'm sure that some people are innocent.

I mean, the automated moderation doesn't look at the position to see if the stall happened due to salt or not.

Well, in my opinion a win is a win so I'm not complaining. Also, it can sometimes disconnect (like it did for me once) and call it a loss by timout.
