@A_Dragon_Riding_King , I found true love when I was still relatively unsuccessful (despite no longer being that youthful). I got a hint that it could be found when I encountered a truly kind, diligent and intelligent person. The pulchritude was merely an added bonus.
Where do you find such a person? More likely in grad school than a bar. Not that it would be impossible in a bar. Nothing is impossible, as they say.
But grad school seems more likely. For those with less patience or perhaps a quicker wit, undergrad school might serve just as well. I've been told that mixed-gender soccer might provide a wonderful surprise, also.
But don't miss a diamond by focusing on sequins. Not all that glitters is gold, if I can add-on another stale metaphor.
